DEPARTMENT OF KAYA CHIKITSA

This is the prime branch of Ayurveda related to general medicine on the illness of Ayurveda. It deals with therapeutic approaches to the disease either through Shodhana (purification) or through Shamana (pacification) and Satwawajaya (Counseling). These applications are done through medications, behavioural, psychological & lifestyle management. This is the link between theories learnt and applying it for the benefits of human HealthCare. The total technical knowledge regarding the management of a disorder is given by this department. A regular functioning of IPD and OPD of this department makes it feasible for the students to learn those skills properly with ample practical exposure.
