Shalya Tantra is one of the most important branches based on six major principles of management such as Bhaiśaja, Kshara-Karma, Yantrakarma, Agnikarma, Raktamokshaņa, Shastra karma. Sushruta has scripted Sushruta Samhita which is a great contribution to the description area mainly the description of Skin Expert, Rhinoplasti-Operation, Lithotomic- Operation, Laparotomy, Amputation, Ophthalmic-Surgery, Dissection, Practical-Anatomy, Physiology, Pathology, Surgery and Anatomical Anomalies etc. has its own originality with authenticity contributing to modern medical expertise for present era. The teaching and training of Ayurvedic Shastra Karma (Shalyakarma) is being imparted by this department. Various abdominal Anorectal & musculoskeletal problem are treated at OPD and IPD level through this dept. Well running OPD, IPD & well equipped OT is their to Traine the students.
